| For
more than 72 years, the FFA has continued to be an integral
part of agriculture instruction by making classroom lessons
come to life through realistic applications. With a total
membership of 451,997 members in all 50 states, to include
Puerto Rico, The Virgin Islands, Guam and Rota; the National
FFA is the largest youth organization in the United States.
Through Spring Branch's Agriscience courses, the FFA Organization,
student projects, community service activities and personal
leadership development, our program is preparing students
to be the leaders of our community. Students also participate
in a great selection of social activities.
Spring Branch has available to its students a project facility,
to gain hands-on experience in the area of animal care and
production as well as the opportunity to gain those same
experiences in plant production through it's new 6,000 sq.
foot Greenhouse. These opportunities also foster the development
of responsibility, teamwork, and pride.
Mission statement:
FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students
by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal
growth and career success through agricultural education.
