You can make a positive difference in our community!
FFA members get involved and make their communities better places in which to live and work. This year's community projects are guaranteed to be exciting as well as rewarding for our members.

.: Project Pals -
PALS is a mentoring program that matches high school agriculture students with elementary students who have special needs and is sponsored through the National FFA. By becoming PALS, those involved will develop trust, positive self-esteem, and ever lasting friendships.

.: Community Awareness about Agriculture -
This program increases the community's awareness of the role of the agriculture industry through newspaper articles and presentations at area schools and civic organizations.

.: Lone Star Equine Rescue -
The Spring Branch FFA is working closely with this rescue organization to help meet its goals. Lone Star Equine Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to the improvement and preservation of equines across the state of Texas as it rehabilitates neglected and abused horses then place them is new, safe homes.

.: Neighbors In Need -
Through the Texas FFA, this program helps the disabled, both children and adults, participate in the joys of agriculture despite their handicaps. The majority of people with disabilities who work or live in an agricultural setting want to continue doing so regardless of their disabilities, and chapter members help these people overcome whatever frustration and obstacles they may have.

.: Environmental Awareness/ Keep Texas Beautiful -
This project includes vast opportunities for the chapter members. It includes activities such as Adopt-A-Highway, planting flowers or trees for beatification and more. The goal is to spread the importance of environmental awareness throughout the community as well as the students.
