After graduating from Dulles High School in 2003, I immediately began working in the Technology field. After a short time at Fry’s Electronics as a receiving supervisor, I took a job as a Technician for AT&T Communications.
During my six years at AT&T I found myself installing and maintaining U-Verse, VDSL, DSL, private network, business communications and internet services. This stepping stone helped me move on and become an HD Integrations Support and Installations Specialist with Karl Storz Endoskope, installing and maintaining operating room Integrations and technology for class 2 medical and specialty equipment used for surgery in hospitals nationwide including Texas Children’s Hospital, Temple University Hospital, Johns Hopkins Hospital and more.
My next venture was joining the SBISD Technology Services team where I maintained multiple campus technical equipment throughout the district and assisted with district hardware repairs and deployments.
After 10+ years of working in the field, I felt it was time to take the knowledge and skills I acquired and share with students wanting to grow in the technology field. As a teacher, I look to inspire and guide minds while providing multiple options for students to consider for their own path in the field of technology.
