I am a native Houstonian who graduated from with honors from the University of Houston, the Art Institute of Houston and South University.
After teaching at the Art Institute of Houston for six years in both faculty and administrative roles, I truly found my calling in teaching, especially teens looking to begin a career in the culinary world. Seeing students excited about their new-found craft is my enjoyment; being able to help them along their way and start as professionals in this industry is my passion.
I have always worked in Houston and I feel that this city is a culinary capital for the rest of the country. I have worked in all aspects of the restaurant industry here and one of my goals is to teach students that the hospitality industry is one with so many different facets that everyone can really find their niche and grow as a professional.
