After receiving his culinary degree from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, Ben interned and trained with award winning chefs on all three coasts, and then went on to obtain a Hotel and Restaurant Management degree from the Conrad Hilton school at the UH.
During his time in Houston, Ben worked for ten years under a James Beard award-winning chef at one of Houston’s most notable restaurants. Over the past several years, Ben has taught culinary classes at the Art Institute of Houston, HCC, and the Guthrie Center.
Ben looks forward to helping guide his Guthrie students in their culinary passion toward creating and achieving their professional goals.
